Hoeneß rules out Real Madrid move for Michael Olise as Bayern vow to keep attacking trio

Uli Hoeneß has dismissed speculation linking Michael Olise with Real Madrid, insisting Bayern Munich will not entertain any offers for the French winger or for any member of their current forward line.

The Bayern Munich honorary president said he found the recent rumours “laughable” and stressed that Olise’s contract situation means a transfer is simply not on the table.

Speaking to German outlet Sport1 on Thursday, Hoeneß said: “I laughed a lot when I heard those rumours. Olise is still tied to a contract for three more years, so for me there is no topic for discussion. Even if the Emperor of China himself came, we would not sit down to negotiate with him about Olise.”

The comments come amid mounting reports in Spain and Germany that Real Madrid are monitoring Olise following his move to Bayern, and as speculation grows around the future of several high-profile forwards across Europe.

Bayern stance on Olise, Luis Diaz and Kane

Hoeneß underlined that Bayern’s position is not limited to Olise, making clear that Colombian winger Luis Diaz is also considered untouchable in the current squad.

He argued that the club now boasts what he described as the leading attacking trio in the game and that breaking it up is not an option.

“The same applies to the Colombian Luis Diaz,” he continued. “We have the best attacking trio in the world: Olise, Luis Diaz and Harry Kane. We cannot think about selling any one of them.”

By grouping Olise, Luis Diaz and Kane together, Hoeneß signalled Bayern’s intention to build around that front line over the coming seasons, rather than cashing in on any of their star forwards.

Hoeneß confident over Harry Kane’s future

Hoeneß also addressed the future of Harry Kane, amid talk of negotiations over a new deal for the England captain after his prolific start to life in Germany.

While he said he had not personally spoken to the striker about his contract, Hoeneß insisted Kane is settled at Bayern and sees no reason why he would look to leave next year.

“I have not spoken with Harry directly,” Hoeneß said, “but I know that he is very happy in Munich. And we are also very, very happy with him, and there is no reason that would push him to leave next year.”

Hoeneß went on to praise Kane’s influence beyond his goalscoring, highlighting the forward’s professionalism and character as central to his value to the club.

“He is a role model in every respect,” Hoeneß added. “Not only as a goalscorer or as a player on the pitch, but also as a person.”

The 31-year-old has been widely credited with providing leadership and consistency in attack since joining Bayern, and Hoeneß’s comments reinforce the club’s determination to keep him at the heart of their long-term plans.
