Terem Moffi linked with Hamburg move from Nice

Nigerian forward Terem Moffi is being linked with a move from Nice to Bundesliga side Hamburg.
Moffi, 27, returned to Nice after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season on loan at Porto, where he won the Portuguese championship. The forward’s reported market value is €8m, while the likelihood of the proposed move is listed at 29%.
The Nigeria international joined Nice from Ligue 1 rivals Lorient in July 2023 for €22.5m. He has made 148 Ligue 1 appearances during his career, scoring 54 goals and providing 12 assists.
Moffi’s Porto spell began in January 2026 and ended on 30 June, when he returned to the French club. His contract with Nice runs until 30 June 2027, meaning any move to Hamburg would require an agreement between the clubs rather than being a free transfer.
Hamburg’s interest comes as the German club are linked with the centre-forward ahead of the new Bundesliga campaign. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the rumour remains unconfirmed.
