Real Madrid’s Barcelona victory lifts mood as Bellingham warns ‘the war continues’

Real Madrid’s victory over Barcelona at Camp Nou has transformed the mood around the club after a difficult period following their derby defeat by Atletico de Madrid.
The three points gave Jose Mourinho’s players a significant lift, with their improved confidence reflected in a series of celebratory posts, videos and messages shared on social media after the Clasico.
Mourinho repeatedly stressed the importance of unity and team spirit during his post-match news conference. The defeat by Atletico had raised questions about whether Real Madrid could overcome their problems and return strongly to the title race.
Those concerns appeared to ease after the win in Barcelona. Players publicly celebrated together, exchanged compliments and joked with one another, bringing attention to the atmosphere inside the dressing room.
Mbappe and Diomande share brotherly exchange
Kylian Mbappe and Diomande were among the players at the centre of the celebrations. The pair shared a light-hearted exchange that highlighted their close relationship.
“He is my brother,” Mbappe said of his team-mate.
Diomande replied: “He is my little brother.”
Their comments attracted attention as Real Madrid celebrated one of the most important victories of the season and attempted to put the difficult period after the derby behind them.
Guler earns praise from team-mates
Arda Guler was also widely discussed online after another impressive display. The Turkey international has become an increasingly important member of the Real Madrid team since being given a greater opportunity in the starting line-up.
His performance against Barcelona earned praise from team-mates, who acknowledged his growing influence and ability to contribute to the team’s attacking play.
Marc Cucurella wrote to Guler: “You’re playing a lot,” referring to his increased involvement and impact on the pitch.
Thibaut Courtois and Alvaro Carreras also reacted to Guler’s display, using fire emojis to show their admiration for his performance.
Mbappe receives messages of praise
Mbappe was one of the decisive figures in the Clasico, scoring both of Real Madrid’s goals and playing a central role in securing the three points.
His team-mates responded with a stream of messages celebrating his contribution. Guler described him as “great”, while Konate teased the forward by writing: “You’re awful.”
Alvaro Carreras and Rodrygo also congratulated Mbappe, using the messages “You’re the best” and “The best, cousin”. Vinicius Junior joined in with a series of fire emojis.
Jude Bellingham celebrated the result but struck a more cautious tone. On Instagram, the England midfielder wrote: “We’ve won the battle, but the war continues.”
Vinicius praised Bellingham’s performance, saying he had played “brilliantly” in Portuguese. Cucurella added: “What a skilful player!”, while Palacios, Bellingham’s former team-mate at Fulham, described him as “number one”.
