Butler-Oyedeji & Nwaneri headline Arsenal squad for Dubai Super Cup

Nigeria prospects Nathan Butler-Oyedeji and Ethan Nwaneri are part of the Arsenal squad to take part in this month’s Dubai Super Cup.
Manager Mikel Arteta picked 27 players to travel to the United Arab Emirates, where we will take on Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Lyon on Thursday, December 8, before taking on AC Milan on Tuesday, December 13.
With a number of our squad participating at the 2022 World Cup in nearby Qatar, Arteta will also be running the rule over a number of youngsters, who will get the opportunity to impress in the two matches.
The Gunners handed 15-year-old Nwaneri a dream debut off the bench in a Premier League clash against Brentford.in September, 2022.
The midfielder became the youngest player ever to play for Arsenal after coming on late in the 3-0 win, as well as the youngest player ever to play in the Premier League.
