Tom Dele-Bashiru: Nigerian midfielder set for more months on the sideline

This is certainly not the best of time for Watford midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru as he is set to spend some months on the sidelines after sustaining an injury.
The Watford midfielder sustained the ankle ligament injury during his team 4-0 loss to Swansea City.
With no expected date on site, Dele-Bashiru is expected to be ruled out for months, this is a setback for a player that just returned from a long injury layoff in October 8 last year as he played for Watford against Blackpool.
Updating the injury list on their official website, Watford confirmed Tom Dele-Bashiru injury situation.
“Tom Dele-Bashiru adds to Injury list ahead of Norwich clash,” he continued.
“Dele-Bashiru sustained ankle ligament damage in a challenge at Swansea and is set for a spell of at least a couple of months on the sidelines.
“It adds to an extraordinary list of midfielders currently in the treatment room; contact injuries during matches accounting for more than half of those.”
Injury have limited Dele-Bashiru to just 6 appearances for Watford this season.
