Slavia Prague manager, Jindrich Trpisovsky has admitted worries about finding a replacement for Peter Olayinka.
The Nigerian forward will be leaving Železná Sparta at the end of the season when his contract expires, leaving the Czech club in a crisis of finding a solid replacement for the former 36 Lion FC product.
While bracing up to life without Olayinka in the summer, the club’s manager has taken time out to extol Olayinka.
“I wonder what will happen when he leaves, whenever we discuss with the scouts who we want in the wing, I say the new Olayinka. In four years, we haven’t managed to find someone like him,” Trpisovsky told media.
“He’s not perfect, of course, the utility of the player is unreal. A productive and emotional player who can tear down a team. He’s not afraid of tense situations where he wants to be the key man. I wonder what will happen, who will replace him?”
The Super Eagles forward, who won three league and two cup titles at the club has scored 46 goals in 174 appearances and also contributed 25 assists for Sparta Prague.
