Nigeria U20 goalkeeper, Chijioke Aniagboso has shifted his focus to the next opponents of his side following a disappointing 2-0 loss to Brazil in their last group game on Saturday evening.
The Flying Eagles needed just a draw to guarantee their status as table leaders in Group D but a shock defeat to the Seleção condemned the West Africans to a the third place finish as one of the best losers from the group phase.
Disappointed with the result against Brazil, Flying Eagles goalkeeper, attributed the loss to lack of concentration and promised the mistakes won’t occur again.
“It’s lack of concentration and one of the things that happens in football. I think we will go back and work to fix our mistakes,” Aniagboso told NFF Media.
“We are more prepared. We need to keep moving. No team is small, no team is big. Any team we have to meet, there’s no body to avoid.
“It’s just to come all out and play anyone that we see. Nigerians should keep praying for us and keep believing in us. It’s not yet over, it’s football. We will improve in the next game.”
Nigeria will wait for the final outcome of other group matches to determine their opponents in the Round of 16.
