Onome Ebi feels ‘fulfilled’ over African record extending World Cup appearance

Nigeria captain, Onome Ebi has expressed her feelings on making FIFA record.
Ebi currently hold a the record for most appearances at the FIFA World Cup for an African, man or woman, having featured in six editions of the tournament.
The 40-year-old is also the joint-oldest player at this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup alongside Canada’s Christine Sinclair whom she was born days before her.
The veteran believes on dreaming and working hard to chase it as she advises young players aspiring to achieve their football dreams to never give up.
“I feel blessed, I feel fulfilled. All my hard work, all my dreams, I’m achieving them right now, so I feel blessed,” she told Modo.
“Just to tell the young ones out there, what hard work, discipline, dedication, and concentration can get you. It’ll get you beyond what your goals are.”
