England’s Lauren James braces up for ‘difficult’ Round of 16 clash against Nigeria

England’s midfielder, Lauren James is anticipating a difficult game against Nigeria when both sides meet in the Second Round of FIFA Women’s World Cup on Monday.
The Three Lioness brushed aside China with emphatic 6-1 win on Tuesday with James involving in four of the goals.
The Chelsea midfielder scored twice and provided assists for two other goals making her the first English player, male or female to be involved in seven world cup goals.
When asked after winning the Best player of the match that saw the European champions finished top of the group and set a date against the Shoe Falcons, James envisaged a tough duel just as she believed the Three Lionesses have better chance to advance.
“Every team has been tough. Even watching the other games, teams are catching up with each other. That [against Nigeria] will be another difficult game.”
The Super Falcons players were granted a day off on Tuesday and went sightseeing, before starting their preparations for the showdown against England billed for Brisbane on Monday.
