Ezekiel Bassey: Ex-Barcelona B winger join NPFL outfit Heartland

Nigerian winger, Ezekiel Bassey has sealed a move to join Heartland FC in readiness for the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League, (NPFL) season.
Bassey, who was on the card of Barcelona B team at some point in his career, is expected to bring his vast knowledge of the game to bear to make the Naze Millionaires contest for honors and glories in the coming season.
Heartland announced the arrival of Bassey on ‘X’ medial handle on Wednesday, expressing their delight in his decision to join the Owerri based outfit.
“Catalonia, with Barcelona B, Aba, with Enyimba, Port Said, with Al Masry, Uyo, with Akwa United, and now, Owerri is home!
“We are glad to announce winger Ezekiel Bassey, joins us ahead of NPFL24, welcome to Heartland,” the club wrote.
Bassey was part of Enyimba squad that won the Federation Cup (then known as FA Cup) in 2014 and the NPFL title in 2015.
He was also part of Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles squad to the 2016 Africa Nations Championship, CHAN tournament in Rwanda.
