Super Eagles Arrive in London Ahead of Unity Cup Clash Against Zimbabwe

The Nigeria national football team has arrived in London ahead of the 2026 Unity Cup four-nation tournament.

The defending champions are scheduled to face the Zimbabwe national football team in the semi-final on Tuesday, while the team’s first training session is expected to take place on Saturday evening.

The development was confirmed by Super Eagles Media Officer Promise Efoghe through social media updates.

According to team officials, 14 players had arrived in camp as of Saturday afternoon ahead of the opening training session scheduled for 6 p.m. at Cray Valley Paper Mills FC.

The players already in camp include Ayobami Junior, Al Ameen Tijani, Michael Atata, Aderemi Adeoye, Chibueze Oputa, Obinna Ighoke, Elias Ocholi, Tosin Oyedokun, Philip Otele, Arthur Okonkwo, Femi Azeez, Owen Oseni, Tochukwu Nnadi, and Terem Moffi.

The Unity Cup tournament is expected to provide the coaching crew with another valuable opportunity to evaluate players and continue preparations for future international assignments.
