Wilfred Ndidi wins Leicester City’s Best Goal of the Month award

Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has emerged joint winner for Leicester City’s best goal of the month of September for his superb strike against Southampton.
The Super Eagles’ stand in captain won the join award ceremony with his fellow teammate, Stephy Mavididi. Both Ndidi and the young England attacking midfielder polled 26 percent of the votes to beat other nominees.
The goals came from the same match against the Saints with Ndidi’s coming in the first half when he outwit his marker in the box before slotting the ball past the keeper.
Mavididi had to raced down from his half and beat his marker before putting the ball into the bottom left corner.
The 26 year old Ndidi has been having an excellent season under new manager, Enzo Maresca as he’s handed an advanced roles in the attack.
The Nigerian star has contributed seven goals already in the current campaign with three goals and four assists putting the Foxes on top the English Championship.
Ndidi is already in the final leg of his contract and its not looking certain whether he will recommit his future with Leicester with number of top European clubs keeping tabs on him.
