YSFON unveils inaugural Ilaji U16 Championship

The Youth Sports Federation Of Nigeria (YSFON) have revealed the maiden edition of the Ilaji U16 football tournament.

The tournament was named after the Ilaji Sports resort in Ibadan and it will be played annually and anchored by YSFON.

The teams have been scheduled to arrive on November 27 as the tournament will run till December third at the Ilaji Sports resort.

According to YSFON, the tournament will be an opportunity for youngsters aspire for greatness and explore the opportunities at stake to fulfill their age long dream.

The championship was put in honor of the chairman of Ilaji Sports resort, Engineer Dotun Sanusi, who has been an ardent financier and supporter of the growth of football from the grassroots.

Internationally recognized and verifiable scouts and agents will be on ground to assess the youngsters on display to choose whoever fits their preferable style of play.

YSFON further urges its officials to be grounded with players profile or data to aid the scouts decision on any player.
