Fraizer Campbell Clinches Hull City’s MVP Award, Ola Aina Acknowledged for Consistent Performance

Former Manchester United striker, Fraizer Campbell, has been recognized as Hull City’s standout player in their recent Championship encounter against Reading, surpassing Super Eagles defender Ola Aina. The announcement was made by Hull City on their official website, following a fan-based vote that narrowed down the nominees.

Campbell, who notched Hull’s goal in the 1-1 draw against Reading, secured an impressive 53 percent of the votes from the club’s dedicated fanbase, securing his position at the pinnacle of the shortlist. In contrast, Aina, on loan from Chelsea, garnered 14 percent, placing him in fourth position.

Seb Larsson, an ex-Arsenal and Sunderland midfielder, claimed the third spot with 15 percent, while England’s 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup winner, Fikayo Tomori, clinched second place with 18 percent of the votes.

Aina, who has been a consistent presence for Hull since his arrival, featured prominently in all nine league fixtures this season. His impact on the pitch has not gone unnoticed, contributing significantly to the team’s performance.

Currently positioned 17th in the Championship league table with nine points, Hull City faces the challenges of the competitive season ahead. The acknowledgment of Campbell’s exceptional display and Aina’s unwavering commitment serves as a testament to the depth and talent within the Hull City squad.
