Maryann Ezenagu inspired Zenit Saint Petersburg to back-t0-back Russian Supreme Women’s League title after a 2-1 victory over compatriot Francisca Ordega’s CSKA Moscow on Friday.

With both Nigerians in action in the penultimate game, Ezenagu’s side claimed the bragging rights, condemning Ordega’s CSKA to the runners-up spot for the second consecutive season.

After a goalless first half, Zenit broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute thanks to Ana Dias.
