Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi, expressed his elation at being part of this triumph and relished the opportunity to face Cameroonian legend Samuel Eto’o.
The clash unfolded with Eto’o taking the field for Konyaspor, later making way for Adis Jahovic in the 46th minute. Bursaspor’s Moussa Sow and Ertugal Esroy found the back of the net, while Adis Jahovic managed to score the visitors’ lone goal from a penalty kick.
Abdullahi, who joined Bursaspor in January from Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta, played a pivotal role in the team’s success, featuring in 16 league games this season.
