Arsenal set to offload Maitland-Niles in the summer
Arsenal are willing to offload Ainsley Maitland-Niles when his loan deal at AS Roma expires in the summer.
The Englishman moved to the Serie A giants in January in search of more game time and to also boost his England chances under Gareth Southgate but that has not been the case.
Maitland-Niles has struggled under Jose Mourinho and is finding games hard to come by in the Italian capital with Daily Mail reporting that Roma would want him to return to his parent club when his loan deal expires.
The 24-year-old has one year left on his current deal with the Gunners and Arteta will be looking to cash so as to boost their transfer kitty as they have targets of their own.
The Daily Mirror report that Roma do not intend to keep Ainsley Maitland-Niles beyond this season, and Arsenal are expected to try and find him a new home.

The former England U17s World Cup winner has made just nine appearances in all competitions, but his versatility in the pitch is something that should see him get a club in the summer without struggle.
The player who had a loan stint with West Bromwich Albion before has been linked with a move to Everton with the Baggies set to be keen on him should they be promoted to the Premier League.
