Barcelona Eyeing Ademola Lookman

As reported by various news sources, FC Barcelona, a dominant force in Spanish La Liga, is contemplating a transfer for Ademola Lookman, the winger from the Italian side, Atalanta.
Manager Hansi Flick has allegedly given his endorsement for this transfer, according to the Catalan news outlet 3cat.
Lookman, who has one year left on his contract with Atalanta, is receptive to leaving the Italian club this summer.
The 27-year-old was on the verge of signing with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) last summer.
In the 2024/25 season, the Nigerian international demonstrated his skills by netting 15 goals and assisting five times in 31 league matches for Atalanta.
The Bergamo club is anticipated to demand approximately €60 million for the winger.
The former Everton FC forward is one of the best players in Africa in recent years.
His stellar performance for Nigeria’s senior men’s national team and Atalanta earned him the 2024 African Footballer of the Year award.
He was pivotal in helping the Super Eagles to a silver medal at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire.
