After scoring three goals in Al Ahly’s first three games of the Egypt Women’s Premier League, former Nigeria junior international Charity Reuben has continued her prolific form in front of goal.
The former Bayelsa Queens forward netted twice to help Al Ahly secure a commanding 4-0 victory against Maady. This brace marked her second of the season, following her debut double against Zamalek in her first-ever match for the club.
With five goals in just four league appearances, Reuben is quickly establishing herself as a key figure in Al Ahly’s attack.
Her impressive scoring run has played a crucial role in the team’s perfect start to the season, as they have won all four of their opening league games.
Reuben, who previously played for Bayelsa Queens and BIIK Kazygurt in Kazakhstan, is now making her mark in Egypt’s top-flight football.
Al Ahly remains tied at the top of the table with two other clubs, NBE and FC Masar, all boasting 12 points after four games.
The exciting title race in the Egyptian Women’s Premier League is well underway, and Reuben’s performances will be key for Al Ahly as they aim for continued success this season.
