Eric Chelle Continues NPFL Talent Hunt Ahead of Unity Cup 2026

Nigeria senior men’s national team head coach Eric Chelle continued his tour of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) by attending the Matchday 36 clash between Ikorodu City and Wikki Tourists as preparations intensify for the Unity Cup 2026 scheduled for May 26–30 in London.

The Malian tactician has been actively monitoring domestic talent across the country in recent weeks. Earlier, Chelle watched Sporting Lagos during the Super 4 tournament and was also present for Shooting Stars’ thrilling 3–2 victory over Nasarawa United.

As part of his ongoing scouting mission, Chelle is assessing standout NPFL players who could receive invitations to the Super Eagles squad ahead of the Unity Cup.

The Super Eagles coach also attended Shooting Stars’ recent fixture and the opening matches of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 4 competition held in Ikenne earlier this week.
