Nigeria’s national U-20 team at the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina has arrived in Buenos Aires for its last group encounter.

The Flying Eagles arrived in Bueno Aires on Thursday afternoon from Mendoza where they played their first two group games of the tournament.

Ladan Bosso’s side will tackle Brazil on Saturday at the Estadio Unico Diego Maradona in La Plata to wrap up the group stage games.

The u-20 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) bronze-winning side has won its first two games of the group stage, beginning its campaign with a 2-1 win over the Dominican Republic before stunning Italy 2-0.

Pre-game of the last match with Italy, the bookmakers had the encounter all in favour of the Italians, who overran Brazil with three goals in a rapturous first 45 minutes on Sunday, before the South Americans reduced the tally by two in the second period.

Against the Flying Eagles, the pacy Italians were shellshocked by Nigerians dominant display, with two well-taken second-half goals by Salim Fago Lawal and Jude Sunday giving the African flagbearers a deserved win.

Brazil has won four of the previous six Head-to-Head games between the South American and West African giants.

The two draws between both sides came in 2005 when they settled for a 0-0 draw as Samson Siasia side reached the final. In 2013, both sides played out a 1-1 draw.
