The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced the nomination of four top coaches for the Manager of the Month award for March.
The nominees are Finidi George who led Rivers United to three wins and one draw in five matches, maintaining second position in the NPFL table.
Mbwas Mangut who guided Plateau United to three wins and a draw, helping the team escape the relegation zone.
Others are Kennedy Boboye who tutored Akwa United to four wins in five matches, aiding the team’s quest to escape the relegation zone while Ladan Bosso guided Bayelsa United to an unbeaten run, registering three wins and two draws.
A panel of Nigerian football experts will deliberate on the nominees and announce the winner next week. The winner will be chosen based on their team’s performance during the month of March.
Rivers United is currently occupying 2nd position on the NPFL table. Plateau United is out of the relegation zone while Akwa United occupies 18th position with 37 points and Bayelsa United enjoyed unbeaten run in March.
