Jose Peseiro dismisses Zamalek link amid Super Eagles struggle

By Saheed Afolabi
Nigeria head coach, Jose Peseiro has denied the allegations of applying for the post of head coach at Zamalek FC.
Peseiro has been under immense pressure from Nigeria fans to step down as the Super Eagles head coach following run of bad performances.
Peseiro said he’s focused on the national team job he was contracted to handle, adding that he’s focused on preparing the players for the World Cup qualification and Africa Cup of Nations.
“At present, all my focus is on the Nigerian national team only,” Peseiro told media.
“I am focusing on preparing the players for the current World Cup qualifiers, and I am not thinking about anything else. There are no negotiations from Zamalek in any case.”
Super Falcons will face battle with Cape Verde in Abuja on November 30.
