Kun Khalifat striker Ameh Joseph calls for ‘12th man’ support against Inter Lagos

Kun Khalifat striker Ameh Joseph has called on the club’s supporters to create a powerful atmosphere when Inter Lagos visit the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday.

The fixture is an NPFL Matchday 10 contest, with Obinna Uzoho’s side looking to use home advantage to secure an important result. Joseph believes the backing of the home crowd could have a significant influence on the outcome.

“We call our supporters the 12th man on the pitch because they have a huge impact,” Joseph told the club media.

The forward said the noise generated by Kun Khalifat fans can make it difficult for visiting teams to settle into the match.

“When they sing, they make it very uncomfortable for the opposition to play against us, and we appreciate and love them,” he added.

Joseph said the players were determined to respond to that support with a performance capable of earning three points. He also urged the team to ensure the occasion produced an entertaining contest for those in the stands.

“So it’s very important for us to give them a good game,” he said.
