By Wale Mustapha

Kwara United’s management has issued a stern warning to the club’s technical crew following their 2-0 home defeat to Akwa United on Sunday in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Describing the loss as “embarrassing,” the management expressed disappointment and emphasized the need for immediate improvement as the season enters its final stages.

The statement, signed by Chairman Kumbi Titiloye and issued by General Manager Bashir Badawiy, also included an apology to the fans, with a promise to end the season on a stronger note.

“We sincerely apologize to our supporters for the unfortunate result,” the statement read.

“We have warned our technical crew to sit up and remain committed as the season nears its end.”

Currently sitting in 13th place on the NPFL table, Kwara United will look to bounce back when they face Nasarawa United in a rescheduled fixture on Wednesday.
