Musa Malik: Nigerian teenager at Ikorodu City attracting AIK transfer interest

Nigeria’s Musa Malik, the 17-year-old left winger currently at Ikorodu City, is being linked with a move to Swedish Allsvenskan side AIK.
The Lagos-based club’s attacker, who is under contract until 30 June 2026, has emerged on the radar of the Stockholm outfit as they assess wide options ahead of future windows. Malik is listed with a market value of €75,000, a fee level that would make any deal relatively low-risk for a European club seeking to recruit directly from the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Malik has featured regularly in the NPFL this season, making 15 league appearances for Ikorodu City with two goals and one assist in 877 minutes of action. Operating primarily as a left winger and preferring his right foot, he has broken into senior football shortly after his promotion from Ikorodu’s youth ranks.
The Oyo State-born forward only stepped up from Ikorodu U20 to the first team on 31 December 2024, underscoring how quickly he has moved from academy level to regular minutes in Nigeria’s top flight. He wears the number 40 shirt for Ikorodu City and stands at 1.83m, a profile that has further contributed to overseas attention.
With nearly two years left on his current deal, Ikorodu City are in a strong contractual position should formal talks with AIK or other suitors develop, and any agreement would likely require the Nigerian club’s full cooperation before the 2026 expiry date.
