Nigeria dealt huge blow as Moses Simon gets ruled out of the season

Nigeria winger, Moses Simon has been ruled out for the remainder of the season following an injury sustained during international duty.
The Nantes winger suffered the blow during Nigeria’s recent clash against Mali, where they suffered a 2-0 defeat.
Simon was stretched off the pitch just 33 minutes into the game following a collision with the opposing goalkeeper.
On return to the club, Nantes officially announced that Moses Simon has suffered a fractured fibula, sidelining him for a minimum of three months.
With only eight games left in the season and Nantes sitting precariously in 16th place, the Nigerian will miss the remainder of the’ season.
He will also miss Nigeria’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers against South.
“It’s a tough blow for us,” coach Finidi confirmed after the match.

Moses has been a key player for both Nantes and the national team.”
