Nigeria midfielder Emmanuel Emeka Douglas joins SSC Sudwest on free transfer
Nigeria midfielder Emmanuel Emeka Douglas has joined German club SSC Sudwest on a free transfer, adding a 27-year-old central midfielder to their squad.
Douglas completed the move on 5 August 2026 after arriving without a transfer fee. He is right-footed and stands 1.79m tall, while his documented place of birth is Abuja.
The midfielder has already made two appearances for SSC Sudwest in the Berlin-Liga this season, playing a total of 47 minutes. The move gives him a new club ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, with Sudwest becoming the latest side in his senior career.
Douglas previously played for Novi Pazar/Mar., whom he joined on a free transfer in June 2022. His spell there began after he had been without a club, and he later left the Serbian side before moving on.
Operating primarily in central midfield, Douglas now links up with SSC Sudwest as the club begins its new campaign. His arrival was recorded on 5 August, and the transfer was completed as a free move.
Douglas is now an SSC Sudwest player following his free transfer on 5 August 2026.
