“No player will be reintegrated” – Antonio Conte amid Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga

Napoli head coach Antonio Conte has declared that there is no room for Victor Osimhen to return to the team.
Osimhen is currently finding it difficult to get top clubs in Europe to sign him having been one of the top transfer targets this summer but his hefty €130m release clause has scared off many suitors.
The reigning African Player of the Year is now the subject of a potential loan move to the Istanbul-based club, after a fall-out with the club, following a failed transfer to Saudi and Chelsea on transfer deadline day.
With many still hoping that the Partenopei will keep him in the squad for the 2024/25 season, Conte has made strong statements regarding the chances of Victor Osimhen playing again for the club.
Speaking in a post-match conference after Napoli’s comeback victory against Parma in the Serie A, Conte made it clear that there’s no reconciliation plan between Osimhen and Napoli as many believed.
“No player will be reintegrated,” Conte declared per a Fabrizio Romano post.
“Those who are out of the project will remain out of the project. We made our choices and walk in one direction altogether.”
