Bayelsa Queens head coach, Domo Okara says his players played believe expectations in their 3-1 win against Remo Stars at the Samson Siasia stadium, Yenagoa.
Okara said he was shocked at the way Remo Stars Ladies gave them a good fight in a game where the most important result is the three points at stake.
He said, the Sky blue Ladies weren’t a pushover with the stars at hand.
“I am shocked at the way Remo Stars Ladies gave us a good fight and my girls played below expectations, but the most important thing is the three points. You know this is the group of death and the visitors are no push over,” Okara told the Press in the postmatch interview.
“We still have a whole lots of work to do as you can see that today’s game was not too fascinating, but like I said earlier the three points is the most important thing and I know we will do better on our next match away to Delta Queens next week.”
Remo Stars Ladies will trade tackles with Robo Queens in their next game.
