Technical Adviser of Rivers Angels, Whyte Ogbonda, is brimming with anticipation for what promises to be an intriguing clash as his side prepares to host Delta Queens in Matchday 11 of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership on Wednesday.

The Jewels of Rivers, aiming to bounce back from their disappointing defeat to Edo Queens last week, will welcome Delta Queens to the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

Ogbonda expressed confidence in his team’s readiness for the upcoming encounter.

“Well, everybody is in high spirits. I will say that the players are ready for the match against Delta Queens on Wednesday.

“We have been able to correct the mistakes discovered in the match against Edo Queens, starting from the defence to the attack.

“We had a lot of goal-scoring chances in the match against Edo Queens that the attackers squandered but we have tried to correct it so that whenever they have the chances, they can utilize it.

“Rivers Angels supporters should expect 100 per cent attacking football against Delta Queens,” Ogbonna told Rivers Angels media.

The anticipation is palpable as Rivers Angels gear up to deliver an electrifying performance against their opponents, with both teams eager to secure a crucial victory in the NWFL Premiership.
