Head Coach of Confluence Queens, Sabo Okala, has pledged that his team will approach their upcoming Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership Matchday 11 clash against Royal Queens with utmost seriousness.

The Lokoja-based women’s football side is set to visit Royal Queens for a crucial encounter, aiming to build on their victory over Adamawa Queens last week.

Coach Okala, while acknowledging that his team’s performance was not at its peak despite the win, expressed confidence in securing a positive result in Sapele, Delta State.

“We are pleased to have achieved success in the previous game against Adamawa Queens, but it wasn’t our best outing.

“We faced challenges in the opening stages of the match and could have conceded in the first half, but we managed to overcome them.

“For this upcoming game, we are approaching it with a great deal of seriousness, and based on the commitment shown by the girls in preparation for the match, I am optimistic about a favorable outcome,” Okala revealed in an exclusive chat with Nigeriafootball.ng.

Confluence Queens had previously defeated Royal Queens by a lone goal in the reverse fixture, and they are eager to replicate that success as they aim to climb higher in the NWFL Premiership standings.
