Rafiu Durosinmi strikes again as Viktoria Plzen edge Karvina in Czech Superliga

Nigeria’s rising star Rafiu Durosinmi was on target once again as Viktoria Plzen secured a 2-1 victory over Karvina in a Czech Superliga Matchday Six clash at the Doosan Arena.

The 20-year-old striker opened the scoring early, pouncing from close range to net his fourth goal of the season and continue his impressive run of form.

Karvina drew level in the 69th minute through Rok Storman, but Plzen restored their lead late on when Matej Vydra converted from the penalty spot to seal all three points.

The result lifted Plzen to fourth on the table with 11 points from six matches.

Durosinmi, who has represented Nigeria at youth level, is still awaiting his maiden call-up to the Super Eagles despite his consistent performances in Europe.
