Premier League side Arsenal have expressed interest in signing Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to reports from Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
Lookman has enjoyed a standout season with Italian club Atalanta, where his impressive performances have caught the attention of several top European clubs, including Juventus.
The Gunners, who are expected to be active in the transfer market, are reportedly keen on the 27-year-old due to his attacking versatility and consistent goal-scoring form.
Italian media outlets report that Atalanta value Lookman at approximately €40 million.
The winger could make his final appearance for the Serie A side in their last league fixture against Parma on Sunday, amid growing speculation over his future.
Lookman has recorded 20 goals and seven assists in 39 appearances across all competitions this season, reaffirming his reputation as one of Europe’s in-form attacking players.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is believed to view Lookman as a potential asset who could bolster the North London club’s attacking options ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
