English Premier League clubs Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly in the race to sign Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi, who has been impressing since his return from a long injury layoff.

Durosinmi, currently playing for Czech Republic side Viktoria Plzen, has attracted interest from several top European clubs following his strong performances.

The 22-year-old was on the brink of a €9 million move to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt last summer, but the deal fell through after issues arose during his medical examination.

Since making his comeback, Durosinmi has scored five goals and provided one assist in just 10 matches across all competitions for Plzen.

Scouts from both Leicester City and Wolves were present at Plzen’s UEFA Europa League match against Lazio last week, as reported by Football Insider.

Durosinmi still has two years remaining on his contract with Plzen, but with growing interest from Premier League clubs, a potential move could be on the horizon.
