Nigerian midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru was among the scorers as Lazio cruised to a 5-1 victory over AC Monza in an Italian Serie A clash on Sunday.
The Super Eagles star was introduced as a second-half substitute in the thrilling encounter at the Stadio Olimpico.
Spanish forward Pedro, also a substitute, played a pivotal role by scoring twice, while Adam Marusic and Taty Castellanos added their names to the score sheet.
Dele-Bashiru came on for Gustav Isaksen in the 65th minute and made an immediate impact, scoring Lazio’s fifth goal in the 88th minute.
The 24-year-old latched onto a through ball down the left and finished clinically with a powerful left-foot strike into the roof of the net from a tight angle.
This goal marks his third of the season, having made 15 league appearances for Marco Baroni’s side.
