There are strong chances that versatile Nigerian defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel will be staying more than the current season with the Turkish club, Fenerbahçe.
It was reported that Fenerbahçe are set to offer the Super Eagles’ full back a new lucrative contract to keep him at the club. Osayi-Samuel’s current contract will expire at the end of the season.
Talks over a new contract have stalled since the beginning of the year as Nigeria international wants a significant increase from his €2.5m annual salary to stay at the club.
Fenerbahce are now preparing an enticing offer that should convince the defender to stay in Turkey, according to Fanatik.
Osayi-Samuel started his career in England and has been linked with a move to a number English Premier League, EPL clubs including Everton, Wolves and Crystal Palace.
He has played 171 times for Fenerbahçe with seven goals and 15 assists to his credits.
