Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen is currently the subject of a bidding ‘war’ between two Saudi Arabian Pro League clubs, despite his strong aspirations to play in the Premier League.
According to renowned Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira, the Saudi clubs have initiated talks with Osimhen’s representatives, with both clubs reportedly willing to trigger his €75 million release clause.
However, sources close to the player reveal that Osimhen’s priority remains a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United emerging as one of his preferred destinations.
In addition to United, other top European clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Juventus, have shown interest in securing the Nigerian’s signature.
Despite the substantial offers from Saudi Arabia, Osimhen remains focused on his dream of playing in England’s top flight.
In the meantime, Osimhen has returned to Nigeria for a short holiday, having been granted a four-day leave by his club, Galatasaray.
He is expected to fly back to Istanbul on Sunday to continue preparations for the upcoming season.
