Victor Osimhen praises Galatasaray fans for Fenerbache triumph

Reigning African Player of the Year Victor Osimhen praised Galatasaray fans following their impressive 3-1 victory over Fenerbahce.

The Nigerian international had a solid performance, providing an assist for the second goal scored by his former Napoli teammate Dries Mertens in the 28th minute.

Having joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli after missing out on moves to Chelsea and Al Ahli, Osimhen is quickly finding his footing in Turkey.

His contributions have helped the team achieve a remarkable start to the Turkish Super Lig, with six victories out of six—matching their best record since the 2009/2010 season.

Osimhen expressed his gratitude to the fans, stating, “Yesterday’s win wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of Galatasaray fans around the world.
