Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has strongly condemned the spread of false news regarding the future of his client.
The Nigerian striker has recently been entangled in various transfer rumors, with the latest speculating a swap deal involving Chelsea and Romelu Lukaku.
Calenda has demanded respect for Osimhen and urged an end to the baseless transfer speculation surrounding the star striker.
“I’ve read about unfounded imaginary trades involving Victor, shipped around like a package ready for delivery,” Calenda wrote on X.
“But remember that this ‘package’ is the top scorer of the third scudetto in Naples’ history. Respect and no more fake news.”
Osimhen has been a prominent figure in transfer news lately, with initial interest from PSG before talks broke down.
The former Lille striker has also been linked to a potential move to the Saudi Arabian Premier League.
Osimhen played a crucial role in Napoli’s historic third scudetto title, finishing as the highest goal scorer in 2023.
His exceptional performance has made him a highly sought-after player, further fueling the transfer rumors that Calenda vehemently opposes.
