Wafu-B Champions League: Edo Queens won’t joke with Etincele tie – Moses Aduku

By Saheed Afolabi
Moses Aduku says Edo Queens won’t take their last game against Etincele with kid gloves.
The Benin Ladies are already through to the semifinal of the Wafu B Champions League qualifiers with six points from two matches and must at least get a draw against their opponent from Burkina Faso to finish top of the group.
Aduku believes it’s an important game that won’t be joked with and the same energy applied to their previous matches would be a taken on Etincele, stressing that the regulars and reserves have equal opportunity to play against the Burkinabes.
“Every game is important and we are going to play with the same energy because we are out here to win,” Aduku told media.
“We will not relent. Every player in my team can play even the reserve player coming in to play but we are not taking the game lightly because it’s like a game final with the Burkinabe and 90 minutes will decide.”
Edo Queens will take on Etincele in their last group game to determine the group winners.
Etincele second on the group B table with four points must at least get a draw against the Benin Ladies to ensure their place in the semifinal and Hasaacas Ladies with just one point from two games must beat AS GNN with at least seven goals margin and hopes Edo Queens beat the Burkinabes to qualify for the semifinal.
