2025 NBSL MD Three Preview: Kada and Kebbi Fishers Maintain Winning Streak

On Wednesday, Matchday three of the 2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Round One featured four matches at the Filin Sukuwa, Sani Abacha Bye Pass in Birnin Kebbi.

Match Highlights

The day commenced with Ibom BSC overcoming a deficit to achieve a 4-3 victory against Nmanko Patigi BSC. Uwana Aniete was instrumental, netting three goals, while Efiong Eyo added another for the Ibom side. Despite two goals from Agemo Samuel and one from Ogunlana Seun, Nmanko Patigi suffered their second defeat of the season. This win marked Ibom BSC’s first triumph following their initial loss to Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors.

In another match, Kada BSC faced an early challenge but ultimately triumphed over Jigawa Golden Star BSC with a score of 2-1 in a fiercely contested encounter. Tanko Emmanuel and Hammed Oladele were the scorers for the Kaduna team, securing their third consecutive victory. Jigawa Golden Star initially took the lead through Yusuf Kamilu, but a critical penalty awarded in the third period was successfully converted by Oladele.

In the evening fixtures, Kebbi United delivered a resounding 7-0 defeat to Niger BSC, marking their opponents’ third consecutive loss. Usman Dawu and Abdullahi Aliyu contributed to the scoreline, while Isyaku Atiku shone with a hat-trick, earning the man of the match accolade, alongside two goals from Abba Aliyu.

Defending champions Kebbi Fishers BSC also enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 victory against Nmanko Patigi BSC, securing their second win in the league after two matches. Goals from Hassan Abdullahi, Hamza Manga, Jibrin Yahya, and Taiwo Adams solidified their position. This defeat left Nmanko Patigi with three straight losses, concluding their Round One campaign without a win.
