Nigeria forward, Terem Moffi has thrown a challenge to OGC Nice teammate and Ivorian, Jeremie Boga that the Nigeria senior men’s national team will triumph over their counterpart from Cote d’Ivoire.

The Super Eagles and Elephants will trade tackles at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Abidjan on January 18, 2024.

Moffi and Boga will play on the opposite side when the two West African sides faceoff.

The striker said he has already bragged that the Super Wakes will win the game.

“In the second round (group game), we play against Cote D’Ivoire, Jeremie Boga, so it will really be special,” he told Ligue 1’s YouTube page.

“I always tell him they will lose at home to Nigeria. I feel sorry for them.” He concluded.

Nigeria will open their campaign against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday before facing Cote D’Ivoire.

Cote D’Ivoire on the other hand will trade tackles with Guinea Bissau in the opening match of AFCON 2023 in Abidjan.
