Cameroon’s Marie Ngah Manga fires warning to Nigeria with Hakkarigucu hat-trick

Cameroon forward, Marie Ngah Manga scored three goals as Hakkarigucu beat Antalyaspor 3-1 in a Turkish Women’s Super Ligue 1 encounter on Saturday.

The Indomitable Lioness opened the scoring in the 45th minute before the halftime break.

The 21-year-old doubled the lead for her side in the 57th minute of play before she completed her hat trick 11 minutes later for her Turkish side.

Manga made the 23-woman squad named by Jean Baptiste Bisseck for the third round qualifyng doubleheader for the Paris 2024 Olympics against Nigeria.

The treble sees the Indomitable Lioness fired warming signal to Super Falcons defenders ahead of the two-legged third-round showdown.

The first leg is scheduled for February 23 in Douala, with the return leg three days later in Abuja.

Cameroon will aim to stop Nigeria from competing at the Olympics for a fourth consecutive attempt, and the second time since 2012 halt.

With the win, Hakkarigucu occupy the ninth position on the log with 25 points after 20 league games.
