Head coach of Nasarawa United, Usman Abdullahi says his team will not relent in their quest to gain promotion back to Nigeria Premier Football League, (NPFL) in quick succession.
The Solid Miners suffered relegation from the NPFL last season after a dismal campaign and currently in the second tier division.
Nasarawa United occupy second position on the Group C table with 26 points from 13 games and Abdullahi said the team will not relent on the effort to achieve their target.
“We are still pushing because there are three more matches to go,” Abdullahi told club media.
“I am sure we will do everything not to take our feet off the pedals.”
Two teams will qualify from each group for the NNL championship playoffs at the end of the regular season while four teams will eventually make it to the NPFL.
