By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

With the conclusion of the Round of 16 of the 2024 President Women’s Federation Cup, Nigeria Women Football League teams now know their opponents for the quarter-final games.

Nasarawa Amazons, responsible for ousting holders Bayelsa Queens, are set to face fellow top-flight side Remo Stars Ladies.

Another game featuring two top-flight sides will see Naija Ratels FC take on FC Robo Queens.

Second-tier Sunshine Queens will clash with former league winners Delta Queens, who recently thrashed Kwara Ladies 7-0. Osun Babes, having defeated Confluence Queens in the Round of 16, will face Rivers Angels.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will determine the venues and dates for these quarter-final matches. Bayelsa Queens, last year’s title winners, were eliminated by Nasarawa Amazons on penalties, ensuring a new Cup winner will be crowned at the end of the competition.
