FC Robo Queens delivered a commanding performance on Sunday to secure the 2026 Lagos State FA Cup title, thrashing Ghetto Tigress 4-0 in a one-sided final.
The Lagos Landladies wasted no time asserting their dominance, scoring all four goals in an explosive first-half display that left their opponents with no chance of recovery.
Kemi Adegbuyi opened the scoring in the 12th minute, setting the tone for what would become a relentless attacking showcase. Just six minutes later, Sadiat Yusuf doubled the advantage, putting FC Robo firmly in control.
The pressure continued as Esther Onyenezide extended the lead to 3-0 in the 28th minute, effectively sealing the outcome before halftime. The fourth goal capped off a flawless first half, completing a resounding victory for the champions.
With this triumph, FC Robo Queens have now claimed their 15th Lagos FA Cup title, further cementing their status as one of the most successful teams in the state’s women’s football scene.
Both finalists, FC Robo Queens and Ghetto Tigress, will go on to represent Lagos State at the 2026 President Federation Cup, where they will compete against top teams from across the country.
