Joe Aribo celebrates Premier League promotion with Southampton

Nigeria midfielder Joe Aribo is thrilled to be back in the Premier League after Southampton secured promotion by defeating Leeds United in the Championship playoff final.
The Nigerian international was part of the starting lineup and played the entire match.
Southampton earned their return to the Premier League after a one-year absence, with Adam Armstrong’s goal sealing a 1-0 victory against Leeds in Sunday’s Championship play-off final.
This victory marked Southampton’s third win over Leeds this season, with Armstrong scoring in each encounter.
For Aribo, it’s a joyous return to the top flight following Southampton’s relegation last season. The 27-year-old contributed four goals in 38 league appearances during the 2023/24 season.
He expressed his happiness on social media, posting photos of the celebration accompanied by the message, “Back like we never left!”
Southampton, whose only major honor is the 1976 FA Cup, had spent 11 years in the Premier League before their relegation.
