Champions Rangers dominate as League Bloggers unveil 2023/24 NPFL Best XI

Three players from the 2023/24 champions, Enugu Rangers, have been included in the League Bloggers Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Best XI, which was released on Monday.
The players are defenders Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, Kenneth Igboke, and midfielder Kazeem Ogunleye.
Second-placed Remo Stars and fourth-placed Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) had two players each in the team.
Remo Stars defender Sodiq Ismail, who recently received his maiden national team call-up and played against Benin Republic, made the squad after ending the season with the most assists and goal contributions.
The Sky Blue Stars’ top goal scorer, Sikiru Alimi, also made the team of the season.
For 3SC, defender Gbolagade Adelowo and midfielder Malomo Taofeek were included. Third-placed Enyimba FC, Bendel Insurance, Kano Pillars, and Akwa United each had one player represented.
The players are Amas Obasogie (Insurance goalkeeper), Rabiu Ali (Kano Pillars), Sani Suleiman (Akwa United), and Chijioke Mbaoma (Enyimba FC).
The title-winning coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, was named the coach of the team.
