Nigeria gaffer, Randy Waldrum is optimistic of his side’s positive chances against Brazil in the Olympics women’s football opener in Bordeaux.
The tactician said he’s satisfied with the outcome of the Super Falcons training sessions in Spain while he told the team to soar high in the multi sport event.
Waldrum believes the Falcons are in better shape than their World Cup conditions as he sees improvement in the team.
“I like what I have been seeing. We had a good time in Spain and since we arrived France, it’s been fantastic and wonderful,” Waldrum was quoted by Score Nigeria.
“The players are ready to go. We are in better condition than we were a year ago.
“The team have continued to improve since the World Cup. Hopefully, we will see that when we face Brazil, a very good side.”
